Having lived in the North Fork Valley for over a decade, I am always amazed by the small moments here that inspire me to paint. A cloud, a tractor, a raven on a fence post, all of these familiar moments become extraordinary to me as I put paint to canvas. The valley continues to be an amazing source of inspiration for my work. I hope that within my paintings I capture not only the minutiae of the moment but also the greater feeling of the Western Slope, its landscape, its people and its heart.
